Something a little bit different from my usual wedding chatter on here, as I wanted to highlight a few lovely local collaborations I have been involved with recently. You may have seen our current collaboration for Father's Day with the fabulous Luke’s Barbershop, Navenby, Asali leather products, and also earlier in the year with another local small business Glimmer Candles.

Because of my husbands job I am used to moving around the country a lot, but as a business owner this comes it’s own set of challenges, with time needed to re-establish a local following etc, along with building up business friends in a new area. It can pose real issues and be quite un-settling, both from a business perspective and personally. When I moved to our current place of work and play in Lincolnshire (hopefully for a good while this time)  I stumbled upon the Navenby and Cliff Villages Business Network on Facebook, and what an amazing group of local people it is. The network has not only helped me settle into the community on a personal level, but also allowed me to settle in both of my businesses easily and stress free. With the group meeting once a month, it’s a true safe haven to discuss any business issues, celebrate achievements and genuinely provides a great little support network for all it’s members. It is astounding the variety and depth of talent we have in such a small area of Lincolnshire and 10 months on from becoming part of this fantastic network I can honestly say it has been a joy to be part of it. From community events at Christmas, with the network funding a community Christmas tree for all the local community to enjoy, to finding new business friends that I now work with on a regular basis I cannot recommend joining a local business network highly enough.

The power of connecting with other like minded businesses has been a revelation and meeting people like Luke of Luke’s Barbershop, Mindy of Asali Designs and also Sandra of Glimmer Candles has meant interesting opportunities to explore and it has raises awareness of the LoveLi brand in the local area and beyond.

I am thrilled that I am currently working with Luke’s Barbershop on a range of grooming gift sets for dapper Dad’s everywhere, available on the website in our Father's Day section and in store at Luke’s, and also with Asali, where Father’s Day cards are on offer free with the code DAD17 at checkout with every order. I hope to continue to work with more of the network members to provide unique offerings for my customers both near and far.
